JUNGE MÄNNER, the zine does not document the body, but constructs a distance from it.  Images are extracted, processed, and fragmented. Desire emerges in what cannot be fully seen, and in what remains unresolved, both physically and emotionally.

 

The work focuses on the space between exposure and self-protection.

 

From the perspective of the subject, distance invites projection - a desire to expose oneself, to be seen, even at risk.

Yet when the gaze comes too close, the image withdraws into abstraction, becoming a form of protection.

 

From the perspective of the viewer, it proposes a way of looking: not through direct confrontation, but through distance

- a projection onto others, rather than an inward excavation of the self.
