iPhone storage, 2025 is not about finding answers, but about drifting and exploring through different times and spaces. 

 

 

It begins and ends with two reflections:

From “I constantly think about the meaning of existence, and receive answers that feel meaningless.”

to “I keep trying to explain the world, only to confirm how I exist within it.”

 

For me, the continuous act of looking and photographing with my iPhone throughout 2025 has been a way of trying to understand my own existence and explain the world.

These photographs are stored on my phone, then later organised, revisited, and understood anew.

 

I attempt to transform an image experience that feels too light, too fast, and too easily lost into something that can be physically felt.

Alongside the main publication, a small blue companion booklet extends the work into another layer of the subconscious.

The work also includes a cassette tape titled I'm Here. I'm Somewhere Else.,

containing sounds collected during different moments of movement. 

 

The photographs come from different times and spaces, the sounds from other moments and places of movement, while the subconscious drifts through another time and space that cannot be located.

Through the relationship between images, sounds, and physical forms,

I hope to create a feeling of being here and somewhere else at once — drifting between different times and spaces,

in an experience that is both ambiguous and strangely clear.

Turning these experiences into something that can be touched, leafed through, and listened to

has also become a way for me to continue sensing my own existence.
